John Jacobey Iii

John "Jack" Jacobey, III MD passed away on Friday, January 18, 2008 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where he had once been associated. The cause of death was complications due to lymphoma.
A native of Colorado, Dr. Jacoby received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and was a graduate from Harvard Medical School in Thoracic surgery. At one time he was hailed as a physician at the cutting edge of technology. He was featured in nationally published magazines. In his time, he taught medicine and served in private practice.
A dedicated member of the Episcopal Church both in Colorado and New Jersey, Dr. Jacobey served in several capacities at St. Paul's Church in Westfield. He was on the vestry and acted as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and Lector.
A funeral will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 414 East Broad Street, Westfield Saturday, January 26 at 11 am. Interment will take place in Colorado.
