Joseph N. Iasello

Joseph N. "Skippy" Iasello, 82, of Westfield, died Sunday, April 24, 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday April 28, 2011 at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford. Interment will be private. Born in Newark, Skippy was a veteran of the US Army, during the Korean War. He retired from the John Duffy Oil and Heating Company, Newark. An avid Giants and Yankees fan, he enjoyed carpentry, and had been a cub master with the Wilson Avenue Street School Newark Pack. He was a member of the Mount Carmel Holy Name Society, Newark. He was predeceased by his wife: Gloria Sainz Iasello, his son: Joseph, brothers: Vito, Danny, Christy, Jimmy, and sister: Genevieve. Skippy is survived by daughters: Michele Iasello and her husband: Bobby Goines, Denise DiPiazza and her husband Frank, grandchildren: Stacey Iasello-Corcione and her husband Jeff Jr., Stephanie Goines, Brandy Harris, Lindsay Comisky, and sister: Mary Williams and husband Albert.
