Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 1, 2008 at 1 pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 414 East Broad Street, Westfield for Juanata Childers Dzuback. Arrangements are by the Gray Funeral Home, Westfield.
Mrs. Dzuback died at her home in Westfield, surrounded by her loving family and beloved husband, Joe on Wednesday, August 27, 2008. She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on July 4, 1926. Nata graduated from Central High School in Chattanooga and attended the University of Chattanooga.
While working at Combustion Engineering, she met Joseph Dzuback, whom she married on July 3, 1949. As a daughter of the South, Nata charmed all she met in the places she and Joe lived, including Chicago, Connecticut, western New York state and London. She was a resident of Westfield for 40 years.
She was a late blooming accomplished sculptress who was also a very dedicated community volunteer. Nata was a chairwoman of Fish of Westfield an avid golfer and member of the 18 & 9 Holers and regular player of Couples Bridge at Plainfield Country Club.
She was predeceased by her son John Childers Dzuback.
In addition to her husband, Joe of 59 years, she is survived by four daughters, Mary Ann (Peter Best), Meg (Mike Bloomfield), Jayne (Julian Bibb), April (Matthew Heron)and her son, Joseph (Paula Dzuback). She will also be deeply missed by her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
