Kevin Issac Goldsmith passed away Monday May 24th, 2021 due to complications from Leukemia treatments at Children Hospital of Philadelphia. Kevin was just a few weeks removed from his 17th birthday. He was a kind and uplifting person of various interests.
Kevin loved playing music on several instruments notably the guitar. Kevin was a former Judoka studying and competing at Cranford Judo & Karate Center. Kevin played baseball from an early age not only for his school, city little league, but several area travel and club teams throughout the years. A consummate sportsman he loved playing baseball best of all. Most boys in Union County his age either played with him or against him at some point over the years.
Kevin was a lifelong resident of Elizabeth and was a junior enrolled at Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy. He was a beloved and respected student always willing to lend a hand. Kevin had planned to study electrical engineering after high school. He was a friend to all that knew him and was such an easy person to be around. He enjoyed all that life had to offer with grace and joy. Kevin enjoyed the company of so many people and could find commonality with anyone.
Though gone way too soon this fine young man will always be remembered for his trademark smile. He was a loving cousin, nephew, grandchild, boyfriend and a true friend.
Kevin is survived by his loving parents Joel and Yvette Goldsmith and his two sisters Kaylee and Sophie who will miss him dearly.
