Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge, NJ for Mr. Leonard Wimpfheimer. Mr. Wimpfheimer, 75 of Westfield, NJ passed away on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Overlook Hospital in Summit.
He was born in Quogue, NY and has lived in Westfield since 1959. Mr. Wimpfheimer, was a grauate of MIT obtaining a BS and also a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering. For 30 years he was employed by Merck and was in charge of Japan affairs. He later became Vice President of Meiji Seika in Manhattan. Presently, he is the President of International Business Strategies in Westfield.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor and their children, Seth, Todd and Lisa. He will also be deeply missed by his sister, Florence Wimpfheimer and his granddaughter, Leah.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Westfield Rescue Squad.
