Leslie "Les" Fairfax Naulty of Mountainside, NJ, died at home on Thursday, July 23rd. He was 86 years old. He was born in Passaic, NJ to the late Leslie Fairfax Naulty and F. Elizabeth Reardin and lived his formative years in Connecticut. Mr. Naulty lived in Westfield, NJ from 1956 to 1987 when he and his late wife moved to Mountainside. He served in the US Navy during World War II and attended the University of CT. Mr. Naulty worked for Universal Cyclops Specialty Steel Corporation retiring as District Sales Manager after 35 years. Les was a devoted and loving, husband, father and grandfather with a wonderful sense of humor who enjoyed each day. He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Betty Ann Naulty. Surviving are his children, Sharon; Sherburne and his wife, Robin and their two children, Jennifer and Samantha; and Robert and his wife Betsy, and their daughter, Caroline. Services were held at St. Pauls Episcopal Church of Westfield on July 28th with internment following at Fairview Cemetary. Arrangements were under the direction of Gray Funeral Home in Westfield. Memorial donations can be made in his name to the Overlook Hospital Foundation and will benefit cancer research.
