Lester A. Rosenblum , 80, of Cranford, NJ, passed away on June 11th, 2015 at The Center of Hope in Scotch Plains after a brave battle with cancer. Born on July 31, 1934 in Jersey City, he lived in Cranford for the past 50 years where he raised his two daughters, Alayna and Lynn with his loving wife Gail.
Lester had retired from Cozzoli Machine Company after 22 years as a Cost Accounting Manager. He previously worked for Federal Pacific Electric Company. Lester was in the army reserve and he was an active member of Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim. Lester loved spending time with his family and friends. His passions were his two grandchildren, his numerous poker nights, Atlantic City trips, watching wrestling and his crossword puzzles.
He was the son of the late William and Matilda Rosenblum. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years , Gail his devoted daughters, Alayna Rosenblum and her long time friend, Steve and Lynn Mai and her husband Brian and his beloved grandchildren, Kathleen and William. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Rosenblum.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 14th, 2015 at 10 am at Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim at 338 Walnut Ave, Cranford, NJ by Gray Memorial Funeral Home (go to grayfuneralhomes.com for on line condolences)followed by an interment at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
