Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2006 at 12:45 pm at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford for Lorraine Thomson. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation will take place from 12 noon until the time of services at the funeral home
Lorraine McGinley Thomson age 83 passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick NJ. She was born in Barrington, New Jersey and was a long time resident of Roselle, NJ.
Mrs. Thomson worked as a secretary in the corporate offices of RCA/GE for over 40 years. She was a tenants' rights advocate and as such was President of the Oak Tree Village Tenants Association and was also secretary to the Roselle Rent Leveling Board. She was also an active animal welfare advocate.
Mrs. Thomson is predeceased by her husband John G. Thomson and a brother Thomas J. McGinley. She is survived by many friends.
