Louis Joseph Scalza

Louis Joseph Scalza age 84 died on Monday February 22, 2010 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in Westfield since 1952. Louis served his country in the US Navy during World War Two. He was a member of the Old Guard in Westfield. Louis had a distinguished career at Hyatt Roller Bearing, division of General Motors, for over 40 years before his retirement. He is pre deceased by his wife Helen (2006), and a daughter Karen Scalza. He is survived by his children, Louis M., Patricia Koerner, Carol Ann Villalobos, Linda Orner, and Jeanne Scalza. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. Visitation Friday from 2-4, 7-9 pm at the Gray Funeral Home, 318 E.Broad St. Westfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Saturday at St. Helen's R.C. Church in Westfield with entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge.
