Mabel Stevenson Orr age 87 died on Thursday August 21, 2008 at the Westfield Center, Genesis Elder Care in Westfield, NJ.
Born in Pocomoke City Maryland, she lived in Cranford before moving to Westfield 32 years ago.
Mabel worked at the pharmacy as a volunteer at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. She became a full time employee in that department until her retirement.
She was a member of The Westfield Garden Club.
She is pre deceased by her husband William H. Orr Jr. who died in 2001. She is survived by a brother, William D. Stevenson, and two nieces.
No visitation. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 10 am at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ. Private cremation under the direction of the Gray Funeral Home, Westfield.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Presbyterian Church in Westfield at 140 Mountain Ave., Westfield, NJ 07090, or the American Cancer Society.
