Marian V. Clay age 85 died on Friday July 6, 2007 at The Runnels Hospital in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Cranford since 1950.
Marian worked as a shoe sales person for the Steinbach Department Store in Elizabeth and Bricktown for 30 years before her retirement in 1979.
She was a member of The Garwood Presbyterian Church. Member of Order of the Eastern Star, Atlas Chapter, in Westfield. Member of The Cranford Senior Citizens group in Cranford.
She is pre deceased by her husband, Andrew B. Clay who died in 1988. She is survived by two sons, Thomas A. of Cranford, NJ, Robert R. of Columbia Maryland, and a daughter Susan Casale of Trenton, NJ. Also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4, 7-9 PM at The Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford. Funeral services will be 2 PM at The Garwood Presbyterian Church, 341 Spruce Ave. in Garwood.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to The Garwood Presbyterian Church in Garwood, NJ.
