Marie Knoeller

Marie Katherine (Jacobus) Knoeller, age 87, of Cranford, NJ, passed away suddenly at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital on July 28, 2012. Born in Jersey City, NJ on Sept. 2, 1924 Marie was the daughter of the late Amzi Joseph Jacobus and Rose (Hausman) Jacobus. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Eugene Knoeller a Navy Veteran in 1992 after a long happy marriage. Marie retired in 1979 after working 37 years for Commercial Union Assurance Companies in the West Orange Office as Personnel Manager. She loved the time spent with family at the Jersey Shore and singing with the Sweet Adelines. Her passion was loving and caring for her pets and caring for her flower garden surrounding her home. She will always be remembered for the love and kindness she gave to her family, friends and neighbors and for volunteering in many capacities in her churches (Christ Our Savior, Jersey City and Calvary Lutheran, Cranford) and her community. Surviving are her cousin Ms. Gertrude Colacino of Zephyrhills, FL and her daughters Trudy Malone (Tom) of Fl. , Lynn Seamans (Ron) of Pa. and Lorelei Seamans of Scotland.; her sister-in-law Mrs. June Brummer of Annville, PA and her sons John Allen Brummer (Sue) of Gettysburg, PA and Eric Brummer (Jo Lynn) of Annville, Pa; her sister-in-law Mrs. Audrey Knoeller of Houston, TX and her son Craig Knoeller of Houston, TX and daughters Ms. Susan Weinand of San Antonio, TX and Ms. Norma Titone of Houston, TX; her Goddaughter Phyllis Carrone (Dan) of NJ, her cousin Margaret of Scotch Plains and many great-nieces and nephews and her loving friends Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rupp and family of Cranford.
