Dancing In A Wheel Chair
I am dancing, so it seems
'Though it's different from my dreams;
No evening dress of billowy white,
No partner stepping quick and light.
My partner's in a wheel chair
Rolling back and forth there;
'Though I may be lame still,
Dancing always gives me a thrill.
His face is an inspiring sight
For he has spirit and plenty of fight
And he will improve along life's way
While spreading courage everyday.
It is not very important now
Whether we curtsey or make a bow ¬¬--
Just a partner to understand,
It's far better than I planned.
