Marion Partelow Puglisi

Marion P. Puglisi was born in Ossining NY and moved to Elizabeth, NJ as a child. She graduated from Battin High School in 1956, received her BS degree and teaching certificate from Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia in 1960 and her MA in mathematics from Louisiana State University in 1967. She moved to Cranford and taught high school mathematics at David Brearley Regional High School in Kenilworth, NJ.
She was a member of the Azure Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years and the Atlas Chapter in recent times. She served the Grand Chapter on several projects and held several offices.
She was a member of the Cranford United Methodist Church for over 50 years and served in various capacities.
Marion was predeceased by her husband, William J. Puglisi and her parents, Frederick E. and Irene B. Partelow. Surviving are a cousin in Florida, Joyce Knapp, her godchildren, Kim Dickey and Michael Dickey of Westfield, and a few distant cousins and friends.
Marion's visitation will be on Friday March 4th, from 1:00-5:00PM, with an Eastern Star service at 4:00PM, at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave, Cranford, where her funeral service will begin at 10:30AM Saturday March 5, 2022.
