Mary C. Messina

Mary (Mae) C. Messina age 90 passed away on Monday March 24, 2008 at The Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Born in Jersey city, New Jersey, she lived in Westfield for the last 44 years. In her younger years, she worked for Western Electric in Kearny, NJ Then becoming a homemaker to raise her family. Mae is pre deceased by her husband, Angelo Messina who passed away in 2004. She is survived by two daughters, Maureen Cheetham, Joanne Evans, and a son Jay Messina. Also survived by three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 PM at The Gray Funeral Home 318 E. Broad St. in Westfield. Funeral Liturgy will be 10 AM Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in Mountainside, NJ with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
