Matthew (88) passed away peacefully at the VA Medical Center in Lyons New Jersey surrounded by family. He was born in West New York, New Jersey to James Montanaro and Lena Montanaro (nee Biondi). He resided in West New York until his entry into the United States Navy where he served in the Korean War from 1951 to 1955.
Matthew also resided in North Bergen and Lakewood, New Jersey. He is survived by his daughter, Lynn and son-in-law Robert Imbesi.
