Michael A. Guthrie, 60, of Cranford, NJ, passed away on Thursday February 5, 2016, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NY.
Michael's Life Celebration will be Monday February 8th from 5:00-9:00PM at Gray Funeral Directors, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he moved to Cranford in 1986. Michael was a mechanic with Hermann Truck Leasing Co., in North Brunswick, NJ. He enjoyed going to classic rock concerts with his wife, and later with his sons. Michael was an avid Jets, Rangers, and Orioles fan. He is survived by his loving wife: Marjorie (nee Raymond) Guthrie, two adoring sons: David Guthrie (Amanda), Sean Guthrie, two dear grandsons: Cooper and Brody. Michael is survived by eight brothers and sisters: Fran Swift, Billy (Louise), Jimmy Guthrie, George (Barbara), Ron (Fran), Eddie (Dawn), Richie, Linda Guthrie, and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews including Michael Knueppel. He was preceded in death by brothers: Tommy, Bobby, and sister: Cathy Guthrie.
