Mildred F. Iversen

Services were private for Mildred F. Iversen age 92 of Cranford who died on Sunday, July 16, 2006 in Union Hospital in Union. Arrangements were by the Gray Funeral Home 318 East Broad Street, Westfield.
Mrs. Iversen was born in Irvington and has lived in Cranford for over 50 years. She was a graduate of Kean University. She was an elementery School teacher for the Cranford Board of Education for 18 years. She retired in 1978.
After her retirement she became an active participant in the Cranford Senior Citizens. She was involved in many of their classes such as; exercise, arts and crafts and also playing Bridge.
Along with her late husband, Kenneth, a retired President of Union County College in Cranford, they competed and won many Bridge tournaments throughout the area.
They were also world travellers that visited many areas throughout the world .
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Iversen and a son, Gary Iversen .
