Myrtle K. Hooley age 100 died on Tuesday February 10, 2009 at the residence of her daughter Linda Ward in Long Beach Island, New Jersey.
Born September 22, 1908 in Elizabeth, NJ, she lived in Union, NJ before moving to Cranford 65 years ago.
Myrtle was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cranford.
She is pre deceased by her husband, Willard V. Hooley who died in 1980. Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis Leiter, and Linda Ward. Seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Services will be 10 AM Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside, NJ.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, 11 Springfield Ave. Cranford, NJ 07016, or to any hospice program in her memory.
