Panagiotis Andriopoulos, 80, of Scotch Plains, NJ, passed away on Thursday September 10, 2015, at Runnells Specialized Hospital, Berkeley Heights, NJ, after a lengthy illness. Born in Agrinion, Greece, where he served in the Greek Army, Panagiotis came to the US, where he later went into the restaurant business, which he developed from a small catering truck to later owning and operating the Paradise Restaurant in Scotch Plains, NJ. He leaves his loving wife: Christina Paradise Andriopoulos, three devoted children: Maria Galtas and her husband Serafim, Paul Andriopoulos, Stephen Andriopoulos, two adoring grandsons: Stephanos, and Nikos, and dear brother of 10 siblings. His funeral service will begin at 1:00PM Monday September 14, 2015, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 250 Gallows Hills Road, Westfield, NJ.
