Peter S. Arasin

Mr. Peter S. Arasin beloved father and grandfather passed away in Portland Oregon on July 29, 2007 at the age 75.
Mr. Arasin was born in Jersey City to Peter and Lottie Arasin and grew up in Jersey City before moving to Cranford in 1960. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked for IBM Corporation for 35 years.
He was an active parishoner of St. Annes Church in Garwood.
He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Eleanor Arison who died in November of 2006.
He is survived by his daughters; Susan Ishiyama, Margaret Coppinger, Maureen Leitner, Donna Arasin and his sons Joseph and Matthew. Also surviving are his son-in-laws; Toru Ishiyama, Philip Leitner and James Price and his daughter-in-law Rachel Arasin. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren Dana and Collette Ishiyama, Chelsea Lanier, Anne and Laura Srasin and William Leitner along with his sisters-in-laws Janet Arasin and Paula Wilder and brother-in-law Chester Wilder and 12 nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be on Friday evening, August 3, 2007 from 7-9 pm in the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave, Cranford. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 am at St. Anne Church, Garwood.
In lieu of flowers contributions to Mr. Arasins favorite charities, the missionaries of charity or St. Anne's R.C. Church in Garwood would be appreciated.
