A private ceremony and burial will be held at a future date in Fryeburg, Maine for Priscilla D. Lee. Local arrangements are by the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad Street, Westfield.
Mrs. Lee, 93 passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Ashbrook Nursing Home in Scotch Plains. She was born in Maplewood, NJ and granduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood and the Methodist Episcopal Hospital in Brooklyn. She had worked as a nurse in California, Maine and New Jersey. While living in New Jersey she was the night supervisor at Overlook Hospital and also a nurse for Dr. Douglas Costabile in Berkely Heights. In 1974 she moved to Maine where she was the nurse at the Burnham and Morrill plant in Portland.
After retiring, she returned to New Jersey to be closer to her family.
Mrs. Lee is predeceased by her son, Thomas Eastman Decker and her sister, Dorothy Dunn Lewis.
She is survived by her children; Dayle Lee Moore of Westfield, NJ, Jennifer Lee of North Carolina and Rich Lee of Bound Brook, NJ. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren; Alison Moore, Janice San Giovanni, Glenn Moore, Bradley Stout, Aimee Cinzori and her great grandchildren; Christina, Steven, Gianna, Nicolas, Jon Marco, Zachary, Gabriel, Alexandra, Jessica, Sean and many neices and nephews.
Her entire family will miss her needlepoints and her extraordinary talent of entertaining each of them on the piano. Mrs. Lee, who never had a lesson, but rather the gift of hearing a song once and would be able to play it beautifully with her magic hands!
