Richard Kramkowski was born to the late Henry and Emma Kramkowski in Newark, in 1956 He graduated from Cranford High School in 1974 and was a member of the football and wrestling teams. He graduated from Engine City Tech of Union with a diesel mechanic education. He became a ASE Certified Master Technician during his tenure at BFI in the 1980's. In 2001 he founded his heavy equipment repair business, R K Truck Repair which he ran successfully for more than two decades.
Rich was blessed with a loving family. He married Nina Criscitiello in 1980. He enjoyed treating his family to days at the boardwalk playing games, riding rides and eating lots of seafood and treats. Rich's biggest joy in life was spending time with his grandson Sampson whether it was fishing, building and racing slot cars and practicing sports.
He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.
He is survived by wife Nina, daughter Lauren (husband Tom, son Sampson) and his son Greg. His brother Ray (wife Karen), his sister Rosemary (husband Keith) His sister in law Cristine (husband Gary) sister in law Janine (husband Sal). Nieces and nephews, Katherine, Ed, Dan, Joe, Cristy, Sal, Nick, Alison, Charlotte, Jaxon, Leah and Rosalia.
A life celebration will be on Monday from 4 to 8 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be 10 am August 2, 2022 at St. Helen's Church, with interment at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
