Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 11 am in the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford NJ for
Richard Lefebvre, of Easton, Pa., formerly of Clark, NJ who passed away on Saturday, February 9th. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
Born in Newark, NJ, he resided in Clark for 43 years before retiring to Easton in 2006.
Together with his wife, Alice, he owned Crafty Kitchen in Garwood for 37 years. before retiring in 2006. Prior to this, he worked for Western Electric for a number of years.
He was past president of the Garwood Chamber of Commerce, and current Chairman of the Jacobs Farm Community Recreation Department. He was also active in the Cub Scouts, Little League and Girls Softball in Clark when his children were growing up.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Alice (Ringert), sister in law, Dorothy Morehouse of Chatham, NJ, his children; Lori Eipel of Clark, NJ, Mark Lefebvre and his wife Sandy of Poconos, Pa, and Amy Kypers and her husband Rich, of Landing NJ. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Kyle, Kevin Cody, Kaitlin, Haley, Jared and Drew.
He is predeceased by his father and stepmother, Frank and Mary Lefebvre, and his sister, JoAnn McGann.
