Robert H. Geer

Mr. Robert H. Geer, 79 of Fanwood passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 6-9 pm at the Gray Funeral Home; 318 East Broad Street, Westfield. Interment will be held privately.
Mr. Geer was born in Reading, Pa and moved to Fanwood in 1962. He was an Eagle Scout and Sea Scout. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean War. Mr. Geer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 1956. He recently retired from private practice as a CPA.
Mr. Geer was a genuinely nice man who enjoyed volunteering with the AARP assisting seniors with their taxes.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Geer, his children; Patricia Brooks, David A. Geer and his wife Marianne. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Pearl Fischer and his grandchildren; Jeffrey and Leslie Brooks and Julia and Stephanie Geer.
