Robert R. Gregory

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 3 pm in the Chapel of the Presbyterian Church in Westfield for Robert R. Gregory Sr. of Westfield. Arrangements are by the Gray Funeral Home 318 East Broad Street, Westfield.
Mr. Gregory 94 died on Friday, March 23, 2007 in Overlook Hospital in Summit. He was a lifelong Westfield resident.
Mr. Gregory was a veteran of the US Army serving in World War II. He was a 1936 graduate of Davidson College in North Carolina receiving a degree in business.
Mr. Gregory was employed for 40 years as an Insurance Claims Manager for the Home Insurance Company in New York City.
Mr. Gregory was an 82 year member of the Presbyterian Church in Westfield. He joined the church at the age of 12 and has served as a deacon and an elder. He was also a member of the Westfield Tennis Club.
He is pre-deceased by his wife Helen F. Gregory (1999)
Surviving are two sons: Robert R. Gregory Jr. of Westfield and Richard Gregory of Cranford. He is also survived by one brother, David Gregory of New York.
Memorial donations may be made to teh Mission Fund of the Presbyterian Church in Westfield.
