Roger Schroppe

Schroppe, Roger W., 72 of Cape May Court House passed away on October 26, 2012. Born in Kenilworth, NJ to Franklin and Jennie (formerly Bates) Schroppe, he later worked for the Ohaus Corp. for 42 years.He married Sandra (formerly Kolbe) in 1964 and lived in Clark, NJ for over 30 years before moving to South Jersey in 2000, where he vacationed since childhood. He loved the outdoors including bike riding, kayaking, and horseshoes. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Cranford, NJ and a devout Yankees and Giants fan. Along with Sandra, Roger is survived by his children: Scott R., David C. (Diane), and John F. (Rebecca) Schroppe; sister Beverly Baly; and grandchldren: Jennifer, Brennan, Meghan, and Keira. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Marian Schroppe.
