Mrs. Rolande M. Bradbury, 80, of Westfield. , passed away Wednesday, October 11th, 2006 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital - Rahway, .
Mrs. Bradbury was born in Paris, on October 16, 1925, the daughter of the late Louis and Celine (Brouse) Bachellerie. Formerly of Barnagate , where she lived for 14 years, Paterson, where she lived for seven years, and Lodi where she and her husband raised their daughter, for 18 years. She moved to Westfield two years ago.
Born in Paris, France. Survived the German occupation of Paris. In 1945met Charles Bradbury, a soldier in France when she worked as secretary for the American Army. They were wed in November 1947. Came to The US as a war bride. Her husband died in November of 2002.
She was employed as a Waitress at Old Salt Restuarant Paramus, New Jersey., for 21 years Retired 1980.
Surviving is a Daughter, Linda Bradbury, and son-in-law Martin Wallad. of Cranford, NJ.
She is also survived by 1 grandson, Alex Bradbury-Wallad
Services are private at the convenience of family at William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, New Jersey.
