Mrs. Barber was born in Dover, NJ on April 16, 1925, the daughter of the late Amos and Dorothy (Post). She lived in New York City moving to Cranford in 1956.
She worked as a Secretary at Dames and Moore Corp. Cranford, NJ., for 3 years Retiring in 1972. Before that she worked at Bell Laboratories, and was a secretary for The Cranford Public Schools.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church Cranford, NJ., Member of The Episcopal Womens Club of the church.
Former Girl Scout Leader in Cranford. Former Officer for the Cranford PTA
She was the widow of Fred A. Barber Jr. who died in 2004.
Daughter(s): Janet I. Milden and her husband Glenn Milden of Cranford, NJ.
Christine M. Schoustra, and her husband Dale R. Schoustra .
Two Loving Grandchildren, Jonathan A. Murante, and Kelly L. Schoustra.
Visitation will be on Wednesday day from 2-4, 7-9 PM at The Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford, NJ.
Religious Service 11 AM Thursday May 11, 2006 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Cranford, NJ, with Rev. Pat officiating. Burial will be private.
