Rose E. Moffett

Rose E. Moffett, 91 passed away on February 11, 2009 at the Seashore Gardens in Galloway Township. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10 am in Holy Trinity RC Church, Westfield. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the Gray Funeral Home; 318 East Broad St., Westfield, NJ.
Mrs. Moffett was born in Peabody, Mass. and lived in Westfield until 1992 at which time she went to live with her family members. She has resided at Seashore Gardens since 2003.
Mrs. Moffett worked for Dr. Chail at the Westfield Veterinary Group and also was a weekend and special trips driver for the American Red Cross, Westfield & mountainside Chapter. She was also a proud past volunteer for the Westfield Rescue Squad.
She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas and her sons Thomas and Robert Moffett.
She is survived by her children; Elizabeth Tholen, William, Richard, Alison Schoonover, Maureen Kaufmann and James. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
