Mrs. Rose Specht, of Cranford, NJ. passed away , Saturday February 3, 2007 at her residence.

Mrs. Specht was born in Carteret, NJ on May 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth. Fazekas. She lived in Cranford since 1962.

She worked as a Secretary at First Presbyterian Church of Cranford Cranford, NJ., for 4 years retiring in 1992. In her younger years she worked as a secretary for Merck and Company.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Churdh of Cranford Cranford, NJ., Former Sunday School Teacher, and Deacon . A 50 Year member of The Watchung Amature Ski Club.

She was the wife of Roderick Specht with whom she has been married to since 1958.

Surviving is a daughter Jill Specht of Cranford, NJ.
and a son John Specht of Centennial, Colorado. A brother Charles Fazekas of Carteret, NJ.

She is also survived by 2 grandchildren.

Memorial Service 10:30 AM Saturday February 10, 2007 at at The First Presbyterian Church Of Cranford, Cranford, NJ, with Rev. Valencia Norman officiating.

A Gathering will be held on Friday evening from 7-9 PM at The Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in her memory to The Center For Hope Hospice 1900 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
