Ruth E. Samer

Ruth Samer, 85, of Linden, died Monday, Dec.19, in RWJ Rahway Medical Center. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9PM Thursday Dec. 22, at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, where the funeral service will begin at 10AM Friday Dec. 23, 2011. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. Born in Elizabeth, to Carl and Helena Diegmann Samer, Ruth retired from the Simmons Mattress Company where she worked for more than 45 years. A member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rahway, Ruth is survived by cousins: Frank Diegmann and Ronald Diegmann, and their children.
