Ruth Norine (nee Fritz) Schulz, age 96, died Friday, July 3, 2015 at her home in Cranford, NJ.
Ruth's Life Celebration will begin at 10AM Wednesday July 8, 2015 at Gray Funeral Directors, 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford, where her funeral service will begin at 11:30AM Wednesday, with the Reverend Carol Lindsay officiating. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Arlin Schulz and a brother, Gaylord Fritz.
Mrs. Schulz graduated from North Division High School in Milwaukee, WI, worked as a secretary, was married and moved to Cranford in 1946. Ruth was a secretary at Roosevelt School, Cranford, and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Cranford, where she was active for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Norine Halleck and husband Robert of Clark, NJ, and Karolyn Clark and husband James of Ringgold, VA. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Lisa Love and husband Edgar, Kenneth Halleck and wife Traci, Steven Clark and wife Shay, Craig Halleck and wife Tracy, Karen Nobile and husband Liam. Ten great-grandchildren also survive: James, Ryan, Regan, Rachel, Bryce, Rachel, Mallory, Griffin, Addison, and Emma, along with nieces and nephews.
