Sharon Kovacs Klein

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11 am at The First Presbyterian Church, Cranford for Sharon Kovacs Klein. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 7-9 pm at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford.
Mrs. Klein passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She was born on November 14, 1952 in Rahway, NJ. Sharon lived in Carteret and Cranford. She graduated from Cranford High School class of 1970 and went on to attend Union County College. After receiving her degree from Katherine Gibbs School in New York City, Sharon began her career working for the CBS network and later the NBC network as a talent relations representative. She was involved in many aspects of talent and co-produced the movie "In Love with an Older Woman" starring the late John Ritter.
In 1986 Sharon married the love of her life, Marty Klein. They maintained a residence in California until Marty's sudden death in 1992. Shortly afterward she returned to NJ and later relocated to Florida.
In addition to her husband, Sharon was predeceased by her father, Stephen "Pete" Kovacs. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Kovacs-Toth and her husband Pete Toth. She will also be deeply missed by her sister and brother-in-law; Linda and Glenn Montgomery, her nephew Gregory Montgomery her niece Tara Montgomery and Tara's fiance Patrick Cleary. Along with her immediate family Sharon leaves her Uncle John and Aunt Stella Toth and many loving and caring cousins, friends and companion Neil Maiorino.
We will all miss her heart of gold.
