Shirley F. Ballantyne

Shirley F. Ballantyne, a 42 year resident of Fanwood died on June 24, 2008. She was born in North Bergen, NJ and later lived in Morristown, Florham Park and Madison. Upon graduation from Madison High School she attended and graduated from the nursing program at Presbyterian Hospital in Newark. She continued to work there for many years as a supervisor of nursing.
She was a long time member of the Scotch Plains Womens Club.
Mrs. Ballantyne is predeceased by her husband, Christian and is survived by her cousin, Carol A. Stanton of Susquehana, PA, her husband's cousin, John Ballantyne of Dataw Island, SC and also her neighbors, Carol and Ted Marquardt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 would be appreciated.
