Private services will be held for Shirley M. Grube, 85 of Cranford passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at her home in Cranford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford.
Mrs. Grube was a lifelong resident of Cranford. She was the daughter of James and Grace Strong the founders of Reel-Strong fuel oil company in Cranford.
Mrs. Grube was a member of the Cranford United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert K. Grube in 2007. She is survived by two sons; Robert K. Grube, Jr and Douglas J. Grube. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Kellstrom.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the Memorial Fund of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford; 11 Springfield Ave., Cranford, NJ 07016 or to Haven Hospice; 65 James St., Edison, NJ 08818.
