Sonia L. Kassinger

Sonia L. Kassinger, 71, of Westfield, NJ died on Monday June 20th in Martha's Vineyard, MA. The funeral service will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday June 28, 2011 in the chapel of the Presbyterian Church, 140 Mountain Avenue in Westfield, NJ. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. A visitation will be held on Monday June 27th from 5:00-8:00pm at Gray Funeral Home, 318 E. Broad Street, Westfield. Mrs. Kassinger, a long-time resident of Westfield, was a realtor with Coldwell Banker. She was also active as a volunteer at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Mrs. Kassinger was born on April 30, 1940 in Bayonne, NJ and lived in Abingdon, England and Westfield since 1972. Sonia graduated from Bayonne High School and attended Kean College. She is survived by her husband, Rudy, a daughter, Karen and her husband Chris, a son, Michael and his wife Lauren-Beth, a sister, Tania and her husband Ronald, a brother, Gregory, and two grandchildren, Noah and Ava-Jordan.
