Stella G. Mc Caskill

Stella Gertrude McCaskill, age 93 of Wilmington, DE and formerly of Garwood, NJ died on Thursday October 6, 2011. Her early education years were spent in Elizabeth, NJ and then as a student at Fischer's Beauty Academy in 1935. She worked as a beautician with her own business and as a homemaker. She went on to work at National Tool and Die Manufacturers in Kenilworth, NJ from 1970 until her retirement in 1982. Stella was a member of the Senior Bowling League in Newark, Delaware for 20 years until the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Barry McCaskill and sons, John Stanley McCaskill and Robert Gray McCaskill. Survivors include her daughters, Anna P. Conroy of Rockaway, NJ and Eileen E. Pasquale of Hockessin, DE; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday October 11 at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford, NJ 07016. A prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday October 12, 2011 at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
