Georgia Suzanne Elizabeth Van Wolf Gude died on Friday, December 12, 2008 at her home in Westfield.
She was born in Evanston, IL, she attended North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, IL and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Sue was a unique woman who was loved by all and was a resident of Westfield for 36 years. She was a parishoner of St. Paul's Episcopal Church as well as a member of Echo Lake Country Club.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert L. Gude; her 4 children, Theo-Nina Truch of Westfield, William Gude and his wife Harriet of Franklin Park, Robert Gude of Spring Lake Heights and Valerie Lensborn and her husband Sean of Pottersville; three grandchildren, Gillian Gude, Andrew Gude and Katie Truch; 2 sisters, Theo-Nina Morner Doyle of Northridge, CA and Swami Shraddhananda (formerly Frances Valerie Van Wolf) of San Francisco; a cousin Sofia Wentz of Sewanee, TN and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Theo-Emma (Nelson) Van Wolf and a brother Gustav Morner.
A memoria service will be held at a later date.
