Sylvia Sophie Gratacos

Sylvia Sophie Gratacos (nee Bowchalk), 84, of Roselle, passed away at her home on Monday March 17, 2025. She moved to Cranford many years ago and had lived in Roselle since 1980. Born in Minersville, PA, she was a school crossing guard for Roselle Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her daughter Allison, and her son Joseph. Sylvia is survived by her loving husband Joseph, loving daughter: Sheryl, and dear sister: Judy Bonchalk. Sylvia's visitation will be Thursday March 19th, from 4:00-8:00PM at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford. Her Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Friday March 20, 2025 at St. Joseph the Carpenter Catholic Church, 160 E. 3rd Avenue, Roselle.
