Teresa A. Itri

A mass of Christian burial for Teresa A. Itri will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 10 am in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Westfield. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the Gray Fueral Home 318 East Broad Street, Westfield.
Miss Itri age 96 passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. She was born in New York City and resided in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn and Fanwood for many years. She was one of the first female auditors in the Insurance field and while working for 45 years with Commercial Union Insurance Company in New York she helped to train many future auditors. She retired 20 years ago.
Miss Itri enjoyed travelling extensively throughout the world. She also was very active in the social affairs of the Chelsea in Fanwood and was a good friend and a joy to all of those who knew her.
She was the beloved sister of the late Francis, MD and sister-in-law of the late Mary.
She was the devoted and cherished aunt of John Itri, Loretta Itri, MD and her husband, Raymond P. Warrell, Jr. MD. She was also the great aunt of Raymond and Eric.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your local rescue squad.
