Thomas D. Cerillo died peacefully April 24, 2014 in the Crestwood Manor Life Care Center, Whiting, N.J. He was born in Elizabeth, N. J.. He served three years in the U.S. Army Air Corp. in World War II. After completing his military service, he lived in Kenilworth, N.J. During this time he was employed at the Elizabethtown Gas Company for 43 years. His desire to be near the shore prompted his move to Toms River, N.J. where he enjoyed his retirement years. He is survived by his wife, Faye, of 69 years, a son and daughter-inlaw, Gregory and Diane Cerillo, three grandchildren, Curtis Cerillo, Cynthia Cerillo, Sandra Parker and her husband Scott and two great grandchildren, Kayla and Joshua Parker, also a brother Frank Cerillo. Friends are welcome to his life celebration at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, N.J., Monday from 6 to 9 pm.
