Victoria Brunner 88, of Cranford passed away peacefully at Peggy Coloney's House, Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains on Sunday March 8, 2008
Visitation will be at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford on Wednesday from 2-4, 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday March 13, 2008 at the funeral home, with burial at Fairview Cemetery.
Born in Elizabeth as Victoria Plungis, she grew up in Linden graduating from Linden High School in 1938.
She was a resident of Cranford for the past 57 years.
She had a 30 year career with the Rheem Manufacturing Co. working in purchasing, accounting and human resources.
Mrs. Brunner was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford. For many years she served as the treasurer of the church's Margret Greene Association. She was active in the Cranford Thursday Seniors Club
She was predeceased by her Husband Lewis. She is survived by her son Robert and his wife Karen; three grandchildren, Kimberly Smith and her husband Robert, Alison Bielinski and and her husband Stanley, and Robert L. Brunner Jr.; three great grandsons Connor Smith, Stanley Bielinski, and Isaac Bielinski and her two bothers John and Charles Plungis.
