Vincent R. Favata, 80, of Union entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2012 after a very brief and unexpected illness. Vincent was a former truck driver for Transcon and Yellow Freight Company. He also was an avid fisherman who enjoyed cooking, boating and had served in the Army National Guard. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ruth, and three children - Rocco of Union, Patricia of Mount Olive and Vincent Jr. of Kenilworth. He was the very proud grandfather of Nicholas and Alyssa. He touched many during his lifetime and will be sorely missed by all of those who loved him.
