Virginia Taylor

Virginia "Ginny" Taylor, 93, a resident of Chapel Pointe at Carlisle, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Chapel Pointe.
She was born on December 1, 1914 in Westfield, NJ to Frank and Emma (Wittke) Taylor.
She was a grauate of Westfield High School in 1932 and Montclair Teachers College in 1936. She was a teacher for 41 years, 32 of them being affiliated with the New Providence Board of Education. Miss Taylor was a Sunday School teacher and organist with many churches throughout her life. At Chapel Pointe she was a member of the Chapel Choir and attended the womens prayer group. She was always ready to help others if they needed a ride or just needed help.
She is survived by her brother, Charles Edward Taylor of Midlothian, VA and three nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10 am in the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad Street, Westfield, NJ. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Chapel Pointe Benevolent Fund, 770 South Hanover St., Carlisle PA 17013.
