Walter G. Geisler age 87 died on Wednesday February 17, 2010 at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Rahway. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in Kenilworth for the last 58 years. Walter worked as a machinist for 40 years for Westinghouse in Jersey City, NJ retiring in 1981. Walter served his country in the Army Air Corp. He served two years in the Philippines. He was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Cranford. Surviving is his devoted wife of 58 years to Olive Geisler. His children, Debra Del Bono, Barbara Hegarty, Lorraine Wolski, Shirley Wujek, and Marsha Stevens. A sister Frieda Smith, and 12 loving grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday from 12 PM until service time at 1PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church, 108 Eastman Street in Cranford. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, in Kenilworth. Arrangements by Gray Memorial Funeral Home, Cranford. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the church, or to the Kenilworth Rescue Squad.
