William Field, 76, passed away at Overlook Hospital on January 14th after a brief battle with Covid. Born in Allentown, NJ and formerly of Kearny, he was a resident of Cranford for 50 years.
He was a loving and loyal husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are his devoted wife of 50 years, Joann; his beloved daughter, Kim Marie; and his loving grandsons, Jack and Will; as well as a nephew, great nephew and nieces and many cousins
Bill's favorite pastimes were following years of Jack's baseball career and Will's accomplishment to become an Eagle Scout. Aside from being an avid Mets fan, Bill enjoyed spending quality time with his family, crabbing at the Jersey shore and woodworking.
He had a kind and generous heart and had an invaluable wealth of knowledge. He could find a solution to almost any problem. He will be forever missed.
He is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Lillian and his sister, Sandy. He was a member of Azure Lodge #22.
