William "Bill" Kelly, age 73, passed away in the peace of his Cranford home on Wednesday, April 22.
As a young adult, Bill served in the US Army as a Paratrooper. He spent most of his career in the computer software business in NYC. Following retirement, he joined his wife, Anne, as partners in Real Estate sales at Coldwell Banker Realty, Westfield office.
He enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening and spending as much time as possible traveling with his wife Anne. He enjoyed many days playing and laughing with his grandchildren. He had the unique ability of making most everyone he met laugh and feel at ease.
Bill is survived by his large Irish family including loving wife Anne to whom he is married nearly 50 years. Daughter, Christine and husband Greg Cherundolo, grandchildren Allison, Caroline, Hannah Cherundolo. Son, Michael Kelly. Son, Billy and Jennifer Kelly and grandchildren Katherine, Patrick, Sean, and Megan Kelly. His siblings, Jim Kelly and wife Joyce, Joan Kelly, Mary Georgetti and husband Jimmy, and (predeceased) Noreen Kelly.
Bill's life celebration and visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26 from 4-7pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. A memorial mass will be held at St Michael's Church on Monday, April 27 at 9:30am in Cranford. To view a tribute of Bill's life, please go to www.grayfuneralhomes.com.
